Discover Iaido, authentic Samurai sword practice!

The Iaido Practice Group meets weekly and with weekend seminars, under the direction of Shihan Teru Hendry. Shihan Hendry (5th dan by O'Sensei Yamashita), is the highest-ranked woman black belt in the Michiana Area.

Pre-register online, by phone, or by mail. You will receive registration confirmation via email or post, with up-coming class and seminar schedules and information to order your sword and scabbord. For more information, call MLS.

Seminar training for Iaido students is by Sensei David Bloem, of Grand Rapids. Belt Ranks are available for Iaido students with testing by O'Sensei Yamashita, Grandmaster.

Individual Classes are $10.00. Monthly Practice Fee is $25.00

Notes for Iaido Students: Required Sword and Scabbord start at around $35. Please wear appropriate uniform to class (white shirt or uniform top, and dark gi pants and/or hakama.)

Suibukan Family Martial Arts Dojo is located south of Elkhart, Indiana, directly east of US 33 by the Concord Mall. The Dojo is easily accessible via highway 33, by Toll Road (80/90, or US Highway 31.
