Non-Aggression and Nonviolence
Updated: Nov 16 2004
In cultures where abuser/victim cycles of violence exist, effective training will promote nonaggression as a primary response strategy in situations that are not life-threatening. Proficiency with nonaggression is developed through practice and understanding of self-determination, boundary skills and the ACDC defense model of SD assertion, de-escalation, confrontation, and conflict resolution.
